NFL Week 12 Betting Tips & Predictions
The NFL no longer has any unbeaten teams after Super Bowl champions the Kansas City Chiefs suffered their first loss of the season last week when going down 30-21 to the Buffalo Bills.
Andy Reid's team still have the best record in the AFC at 9-1, while in the NFC the Detroit Lions have also won nine of their first 10 games after demolishing the Jacksonville Jaguars 52-6 last week.
There are some heavy favourites on the Week 12 coupon, but also some exciting matchups, including the San Francisco 49ers taking on the Packers in the NFC, and the Monday night AFC showdown between the Baltimore Ravens and the Los Angeles Chargers.
Here are our favourite three bets for the Week 12 action.
Tip 1 - Miami Dolphins -7 vs New England Patriots - 10/11
The Miami Dolphins finally look like themselves again now quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is back up to speed after missing a month due to concussion and they can make it three comfortable wins in a row when they host the New England Patriots on Sunday.
The Dolphins looked awful while their offensive lynchpin was out of action and two narrow defeats in his first two games back against the Cardinals and Bills left them in dire straits at 2-6.
Those losses to play-off contenders by one and three points showed the Dolphins were a force to be reckoned with again and they have shown it in their last two games, beating the Los Angeles Rams 23-15 and the Los Angeles Raiders 34-19.
Last week's home victory should have the Miami fans fired up again and confident their team can score a second win this season over their AFC East rivals.
Tyler Huntley and Jacoby Brissett were the quarterbacks when the Dolphins beat the Patriots 15-10 in Week 5, but the visitors also have a new QB now with rookie Drake Maye at the helm.
The Dolphins made a host of mistakes in that game but still won and should be able to emphasise their superiority with an even more clear-cut victory this time.
The Patriots' two recent wins both came over other struggling teams in the Jets and Bears and the Dolphins can no longer be put in that category.
Tip 2 - Arizona Cardinals to beat Seattle Seahawks - 23/25
The Cardinals have soared to the top of the NFC West standings with four successive wins and they look worth backing as marginal underdogs to extend their winning streak when they take on the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field.
The Seahawks, along with the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers, are 5-5 and only one win behind the Cardinals in the NFL's most competitive division.
The Cardinals have flown under the radar a little this season but they have showcased their offensive talent in consecutive wins over the Chargers, Dolphins, Bears and Jets.
The last two were dominant victories by 20 and 25 points and while the Seahawks on the road represents a tougher test, Jonathan Gannon's team have a useful scheduling advantage.
The Cardinals are rested as they come out of their bye week, while the Seahawks were involved in a tight and brutal battle against the 49ers on Sunday.
Seattle emerged victorious for only the second time in their last seven games, but have lost their last four home matchups and could be vulnerable again.
Tip 3 - Tampa Bay Buccaneers -5.5 vs New York Giants - 10/11
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have fought their way through one of the toughest schedules in the NFL this season and should relish the chance to finally take on a poor side when they visit the New York Giants.
The Giants appear to have given up on the season at 2-8 after losing their last five games and this week announced they are benching starting QB Daniel Jones and turning to third-stringer Tommy DeVito.
The New Jersey native had a 3-3 record as a starter when filling in for the injured Jones last season, but the undrafted player is not likely to outduel former first overall pick Baker Mayfield.
The Bucs have met only one team with a losing record all season, and that was the Saints, who they crushed 51-27. Since then they have battled well in defeat to strong teams in the Ravens, Falcons, Chiefs and 49ers, but should be able to pull clear of the Giants.
