NFL Week 15 Predictions

With just four weeks remaining in the regular NFL season, time is running out for teams to secure their place in the playoffs.

There are some cracking matchups on the Week 15 schedule, with the pick of them coming at Ford Field as the Detroit Lions host the Buffalo Bills.

We have picked out our best bets for the upcoming slate of games.

Tip 1: Under 43 points in Pittsburgh Steelers at Philadelphia Eagles @ 9/10

Pittsburgh still have work to do to secure top spot in the AFC North, with the Baltimore Ravens breathing down their necks in second, but the Steelers will be hoping they can clinch a crucial win when heading to a Philadelphia side already guaranteed a playoff berth.

Mike Tomlin's men have won seven of their last eight games to sit top of their AFC North on 10-3, a couple of wins better than Baltimore (8-5), but they face a tough test against the Eagles.

Philadelphia (11-2) have won nine games in a row to take control of the NFC East and a large reason for this impressive run has been their run game, as they average 190.5 rush yards per match.

However, the Eagles face a Steelers team that concedes the fourth-lowest rush yards per game with 91.5 and points may be hard to come by in this contest.

Pittsburgh wide receiver George Pickens is not expected to be fully fit if he plays, while the Eagles have struggled to throw the ball effectively.

Considering all of that, the value play looks to be going for under 43 points.

Tip 2: Carolina Panthers to beat the Dallas Cowboys @ 4/5

Remarkably, Carolina (3-10) are favourites for this weekend’s home clash against the Dallas Cowboys.

The Panthers are already planning for next season after enduring a dismal campaign, but there have been better signs since Week 11.

Although suffering defeats in all three games since then, they have run the Kansas City Chiefs (30-27), the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (26-23) and the Eagles (22-16) close.

Carolina have a formidable rushing attack and they face a Cowboys side that concede the third-most rushing yards per game (141.9). The Panthers will have to slow down Dallas quarterback Cooper Rush, but their recent performances have suggested they are more than capable of doing that and keeping this game tight.

Tip 3: Under 40.5 points in New York Jets at Jacksonville Jaguars @ 10/11

The New York Jets were eliminated from playoff contention last weekend after their 32-26 defeat to the Miami Dolphins in overtime, taking their win-loss record to 3-10.

Jacksonville also know they won’t be involved in the post-season picture, as they sit third in the AFC South with a 3-10 record.

Both teams will already be planning for the next campaign and this weekend’s clash is unlikely to be a high-scoring affair, especially as New York will likely be without running back Breece Hall.

Led by quarterback Aaron Rodgers, the Jets have scored 21 or more points in three successive games, but the Jags haven’t been as good in attack and could only post 10 points last week without QB Trevor Lawrence.

Jacksonville have averaged just 18.3 points per game and the best bet for this clash is for there to be under 40.5 points.
