NFL: Week 13 Predictions & Tips
The NFL season is nearing the business end, with this Thanksgiving weekend set to play host to a blockbuster slate of games as the postseason races heat up.
As Week 13 rolls around, we pick out the best bets for the weekend’s slate of games.
Tip 1: Over 46.5 points in Carolina Panthers vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ 10/11
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are locked in a battle with the Atlanta Falcons to top the NFC South and if they are to win the division, they likely need to get the better of the Carolina Panthers in this divisional battle.
The Panthers are 3-8 but did put up plenty of fight against the Kansas City Chiefs last time out, losing 30-27 to the defending Super Bowl champions.
For all their fighting spirit, they are still allowing the league’s most points, an average of 30.9 per game.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are averaging the fourth-most points in the league, 28.1, under the dynamic efforts of Baker Mayfield, who had 294 passing yards against the New York Giants last time out.
Bryce Young showed flashes of why he was taken first overall in the 2023 NFL Draft and this could be a high-scoring affair between these two divisional rivals.
Tip 2: Over 50.5 points in Baltimore Ravens vs Philadelphia Eagles @ 9/10
The Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles have been two of the best teams in the NFL this season and this game has a legitimate case to be a preview of this year’s Super Bowl.
The Eagles’ Saquon Barkley rushed for 255 yards against the Los Angeles Rams last time out and is the pick of two teams that are happy to run the ball as much as possible.
The over has landed in four of the Ravens’ last five home games and the same is fancied between these two juggernauts.
Expect the two teams to put on a thriller in Baltimore and the points total looks in big danger.
Tip 3: Buffalo Bills -7 @ 19/20
Brocky Purdy’s absence has been a major blow for the San Francisco 49ers, they were beaten 38-10 by the Green Bay Packers last time out without their star quarterback.
Backup Brandon Allen proved a pale shadow of Purdy’s performances, throwing an interception and coughing up a fumble.
Purdy is questionable once again for this game with a shoulder injury and that is not the kind of issue that a quarterback can be rushed back from.
The Buffalo Bills will be riding high after their 30-21 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs last time out and they will also have benefitted from their recent bye week to freshen up.
With question marks about Purdy’s health and Josh Allen producing an MVP-level season, the Bills are fancied to cover the spread.
