Premier League Matchday 5 Preview
The Champions League began this week but attention turns swiftly to the Premier League with a blockbuster weekend of action in store, headlined by last season’s winners Manchester City facing runners-up Arsenal.
There is also a London derby between Chelsea and West Ham to start proceedings on Saturday, while Manchester United continue on the comeback trail against Crystal Palace in the day’s later televised kick-off.
Brighton host Nottingham Forest on Sunday before the clash between City and Arsenal at the Etihad.
Tip 1: West Ham or draw double chance @ 3/4 https://www.betuk.com/betting#event/1021042576
Chelsea have failed to convince again this season and they were fortunate to get the better of Bournemouth last weekend after Evanilson missed a penalty for the Cherries.
They may run out of luck against a West Ham side that are slowly improving under Julen Lopetegui and could cause real issues for their London rivals.
Side with the Hammers to at least avoid defeat in this clash.
Tip 2: Manchester United @ 7/5 https://www.betuk.com/betting#event/1021042592
Manchester United bounced back from defeat to rivals Liverpool with a comfortable success over Southampton before beating Barnsley 7-0 in the EFL Cup in midweek.
With the confidence boost of those two results behind them, the Red Devils are fancied to get the better of Crystal Palace in this game.
The Eagles have failed to live up to their impressive end to last season, they remain winless in their four league games and are missing Michael Olise badly.
Manchester United look like the value selection to get another away win here.
Tip 3: Both teams to score and over 2.5 goals in Brighton v Nottingham Forest @ 19/20
Nottingham Forest produced the shock of the Premier League season so far last week as they beat Liverpool on Saturday and they will be looking to secure another away win when they visit Brighton on Sunday.
The Tricky Trees have shown their effectiveness on the counter this term and could play their part in an entertaining affair when they take on the Seagulls.
Five of the last seven meetings between these two have gone over 2.5 goals and the same is fancied here, with both teams fancied to contribute to that.
Tip 4: Under 2.5 goals in Manchester City v Arsenal @ 4/5
The biggest game of the early part of this Premier League season sees Arsenal visit Manchester City.
The Gunners led the league for much of last term before being ground down as the Citizens found an extra gear from the turn of the year onwards.
Mikel Arteta showed his ultra-cautious approach to his team’s 1-0 win over rivals Tottenham last week and a similar game plan looks likely here.
The two league meetings between this pair last term produced just one goal and the under is the pick.
