Premier League: Matchday 25 Tips
Another mouthwatering weekend of Premier League action lies ahead, including struggling champions Manchester City hosting in-form Newcastle United at the Etihad Stadium.
League-leaders Liverpool host lowly Wolves at Anfield looking to bounce back from a disappointing derby at Everton, while Tottenham and Manchester United meet in the final match on Sunday.
We have picked out selections for five of the most attractive Premier League matches.
Tip 1 - Arsenal/Arsenal half-time/full-time v Leicester @ 4/5
With nine days of rest between Arsenal's last game and their visit to Leicester, the Gunners can be expected to return to action with energy and vibrancy, and that spells bad news for lowly Leicester. Arsenal can be backed to be leading at half-time and winning at full-time.
Arsenal's defence has been hugely impressive for ages while going forward, the Londoners put five goals past Manchester City at the start of this month. Leaky Leicester have conceded 53 goals in 24 league games this season and further punishment seems likely on Saturday.
Tip 2 - Newcastle to beat Manchester City @ 5/2
Manchester City lost 3-2 to Real Madrid at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday and more suffering could be coming for the Premier League champions on Saturday. There has been a vulnerability about City over the last few months, and Pep Guardiola appears unable to stop the bleeding.
Newcastle, in contrast, have been growing in confidence, booking a spot in the League Cup final, progressing in the FA Cup, and threatening to overtake City in the league. The Magpies are flying and can leave the Etihad with all three points and what would be their seventh successive away win in all competitions.
Tip 3 - Fulham to beat Nottingham Forest @ 23/20
Fulham have not played since last Saturday, while Nottingham Forest were involved in an epic FA Cup encounter on Tuesday night, which went to penalties. In a Craven Cottage meeting between two evenly matched sides, a fresher Fulham can emerge triumphant.
Marco Silva's men have beaten Newcastle and Wigan in their last two matches, and they have lost just two of their last 14 games in all competitions.
Tip 4 - Over 3.5 goals in Southampton v Bournemouth @ 27/20
Southampton will be obliged to attack in this south-coast derby. Saints fans will not be expecting their side to triumph, but they will demand the chance to cheer some goals as they host their local rivals.
Bournemouth are enjoying an incredible campaign and will expect to feast on goals against the most generous defence in the division.
Tip 5 - Both Teams To Score - No - Tottenham v Manchester United @ 19/10
A draw would not be a bad result for either side when Tottenham host Manchester United on Sunday. A point apiece would keep both teams safely away from the relegation zone, so expect a more cautious approach than usual from Spurs and the Red Devils.
Either or both of these sides to draw a blank looks the best betting strategy.
