Premier League Matchday 24 Betting Tips

Another inevitably captivating weekend of Premier League action lies ahead, including table-toppers Liverpool travelling to Bournemouth for a tricky south-coast visit.

Nottingham Forest and Brighton get the Premier League action started on Saturday, while Arsenal host Manchester City in a Sunday blockbuster.

We have picked out selections for five of the most attractive Premier League matches.

Tip 1 - Brighton to beat Nottingham Forest @ 15/8

Brighton are unbeaten in their last six away games and the Seagulls have triumphed on their last three road missions. A 4-0 spanking of Norwich in the FA Cup was followed by comfortable victories at Ipswich Town and Manchester United.

This may be a good time to face Nottingham Forest, who were humbled at Bournemouth last time out, suffering a 5-0 thrashing. Forest fans are staggered to find their side third in the Premier League table going into the Brighton game, but a slide down the standings may start on Saturday.

Tip 2 - Wolves v Aston Villa draw @ 5/2

The hectic schedule of Aston Villa this season appears to be catching up with them - they have seemed a little leggy at times in recent weeks - and a point may be all that the Villans can manage from their Midlands dust-up with Wolves.

The home side should be fresher at Molineux, having not played since last Saturday. A Sunday draw with West Ham for Aston Villa was followed by an intense Wednesday-night Champions League meeting with Celtic. Wolves can battle to a draw on Saturday.

Tip 3 - Brentford to beat Tottenham @ 26/25

Thursday-night Europa League action has become a headache for under-fire Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou, who is desperately trying to improve Spurs' terrible Premier League position.

Tottenham still have hopes of winning three trophies this season, but they are just outside the Premier League relegation zone, which is hugely embarrassing for their manager and fans. The Europa League commitments for Spurs mean Brentford go into this London derby much fresher - and the Bees can bolster their superb home record.

Tip 4 - Under 0.5 Manchester City goals v Arsenal @ 19/10

Arsenal have gone 70 games in all competitions without conceding more than two goals - December 2023 at Luton was the last time Mikel Arteta's side shipped three or more - and it is that defensive solidity which has given the Gunners a golden chance of threatening for the Premier League title.

This week could be huge for Arsenal, with league leaders Liverpool facing a difficult trip to in-form Bournemouth. The Gunners can give themselves a great chance of beating Manchester City by keeping a clean sheet against the Citizens.

Tip 5 - Over 2.5 Chelsea goals v West Ham @ 27/25

Not since the opening day of the season - against Manchester City - have Chelsea failed to score in a home game (in all competitions). Expect that streak to continue against West Ham on Monday night.

Cole Palmer and co look great value at odds-against to put three or more goals past the Hammers, who are still adjusting to a new manager.
