Borussia Dortmund hold an unexpected advantage in Tuesday night’s tie after their 1-0 win over PSG in Germany, while Real Madrid will be relying on the Bernabeu faithful to carry them through after a 2-2 draw with Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.

PSG vs Borussia Dortmund - Both teams to score, Niclas Fullkrug to score, Ian Maatsen to be carded at 10/1

PSG are hot favourites to win when Borussia Dortmund visit Parc des Princes, but Les Parisiens may not have it all their own way in the French capital.

The hosts have conceded in each of their last seven competitive games and will be required to push forward to overturn the first-leg deficit, which should open the door for Dortmund to score for an eighth successive match.

A likely goalscorer for the visitors is first-leg hero Niclas Fullkrug, who bagged the only goal of the game at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK and who will travel to Paris well-rested after being given the day off at the weekend.

That goal last week was his 15th in all competitions and he has scored in three of his last four matches.

Further back, Chelsea loanee Ian Maatsen is a prime candidate to pick up another booking.

The 22-year-old was yellow-carded early in the first leg and is set to face off with Ousmane Dembele again on Tuesday, leaving him vulnerable to being booked for a fifth time in his last six appearances.

Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich - Real Madrid over 2.5 goals & Vinicius Junior to score at 13/4

A late Vinicius Junior penalty - his second goal of the game - salvaged a draw for Real in Munich and they are justifiable favourites to finish the job back at the Bernabeu on Wednesday.

Los Blancos put three past Cadiz at the weekend to seal the La Liga title and the final of that trio of goals made it 15 goals in their last five competitive home games.

They have put three past the likes of Manchester City and Barcelona in this period, while Bayern lost 3-1 at Stuttgart on Saturday and have conceded 20 times in their last nine on the road.

Real should be good for a few goals in front of their own fans and Vinicius Junior is one of the leading candidates to get the better of Manuel Neuer.

The Brazilian notched both goals at the Allianz Arena last week and was only used off the bench for the weekend win over Cadiz, leaving him raring to go for this second-leg tie.

Vinicius has 21 goals in all competitions and five in the Champions League, while his brace last week made it nine goals in his last eight starts for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

Bayern Munich v Real Madrid

Real Madrid to win, Over 2.5 goals, Vinícius Júnior to score @ 9/2

It has been a miserable season for Bayern Munich, which will ultimately end with manager Thomas Tuchel leaving his job.

The 50-year-old showed that he is a capable exponent of counter-attack football when winning the Champions League in his time with Chelsea, but has been found wanting when a more progressive and assertive approach was needed at Bayern.

The Bavarians have tamely submitted to Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga title race, there was an early exit from the German Cup and the Champions League is the last shot at glory for the Germans this season.

Of course, Bayern did get the better of Arsenal in the quarter-finals of Europe’s premiere competition, but the Gunners gifted Tuchel’s men two goals at the Emirates and Real are unlikely to be as charitable.

Los Blancos downed ante-post favourites Man City at the last eight stage, Real look the strongest team left in the competition and they can take a first-leg advantage back to the Bernabeu.

There have been 54 goals in Bayern’s last 13 matches and they haven’t all been in favour of the Bavarians. Tuchel’s men have kept only three clean sheets in their last 17 matches and Real Madrid have the quality to expose a German defence lacking pace.

Vinicius Junior has 13 La Liga goals in only 20 starts this season, the Brazilian has found the net seven times in his last nine Real Madrid appearances and the 23-year-old looks a decent bet to get on the scoresheet in Bavaria.

Borussia Dortmund v PSG

Dortmund to win Emre Can to be shown a card @ 8/1

Dortmund’s chance of beating PSG in front of the Yellow Wall at Signal Iduna Park look to have been underplayed by the prices.

Die Borussen were excellent when beating Atletico Madrid 4-2 in Germany in the second leg of their quarter-final, and while PSG have a major threat in Kylian Mbappe, there doesn’t appear to be as much between the sides as the prices suggest.

The Parisians were beaten at Newcastle and in Milan in the group stage of the Champions League and, although Luis Enrique’s men earned a draw at Dortmund earlier in the competition, the Germans have improved as the season has progressed.

Edin Terzic’s men carry a threat all over the pitch and PSG could find Dortmund difficult to contain.

Emre Can has been booked 10 times in a Dortmund shirt this season and four of those cautions have come in the Champions League.

The former Liverpool man went in the book against Atletico in Die Borussen’s most recent European contest and the combative midfielder could be in trouble again.
