Champions League Matchday Six Tips

It’s Matchday 6 of the Champions League and there are some interesting ties taking place around Europe on Tuesday and Wednesday night.

Betting Tip 1 - Celtic to beat Dinamo Zagreb @ 6/5

Just two points separate Celtic and Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League standings and both sides will be on the hunt for a win to boost their knockout qualification hopes.

This may look like a fairly tricky fixture for Celtic, but Dinamo Zagreb have a major injury crisis on their hands and that should give the Hoops an opportunity to strike.

Raul Torrente, Juan Cordoba, Bruno Petkovic, Josip Misic, Petar Sucic, Takuya Ogiwara and Arijan Ademi are all doubts for Tuesday’s clash and the Blues manager Nenad Bjelica has said that he has "14 fit players" available for the clash with the Bhoys.

Celtic have won nine of their last 10 matches and are a structured, coherent and aggressive side who can leave Croatia with all three points.

Betting Tip 2 - Salzburg to beat PSG @ 7/1

Things are starting to get a little desperate for PSG, who have taken only four points from their opening five Champions League matches.

The Parisians were clear second-best when losing 1-0 at Bayern Munich last time out, while Luis Enrique’s men were crushed 2-0 in London by Arsenal and were turned over at home by Atletico Madrid.

The current PSG side look way short of what we have seen from them in this competition in recent seasons and Salzburg could prove to be excellent value to add to the French club's troubles.

Betting Tip 3 - Juventus to beat Manchester City @ 29/10

Manchester City arrested their slump with a 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest, but the Citizens fell back into trouble when twice having to come from behind to rescue a 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace on Saturday and Pep Guardiola’s men could also struggle against Juventus.

City have won only one of their last nine matches and key midfield Rodri remains on the sidelines, while established performers Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden and Kyle Walker have all been way short of their best.

Juve have been struggling to turn draws into victories, but the Old Lady have faced a fairly tricky run of fixtures and Thiago Motta’s men look worth backing to beat City in Turin.

Betting Tip 4 - Arsenal to win & over 2.5 goals @ 7/10

Arsenal were seriously impressive when hammering Sporting 5-1 in Lisbon in their most recent Champions League contest and another high-scoring victory for the Premier League side could be in store when Monaco head to the Emirates on Wednesday.

The Gunners were held to a 1-1 draw by Fulham on Sunday, but prior to that Mikel Arteta’s men had beaten Manchester United 2-0, crushed West Ham 5-2 and seen off Nottingham Forest 3-0.

Six of Monaco's last seven away matches have produced over 2.5 goals and the Red and Whites could be involved in another entertaining clash.
