Champions League Matchday Four Tips
The 2024/25 Champions League has already reached matchday four and Aston Villa and Liverpool are the only two teams with 100 per cent records heading into this week's round of matches.
Manchester City and Arsenal are two of the seven teams who have collected seven points, while Celtic are 20th in the standings after collecting four points from three matches.
The Hoops face RB Leipzig this week, Liverpool host Bayer Leverkusen, Manchester City head to Sporting Lisbon, Club Brugge welcome Aston Villa to Belgium and one of the biggest ties of the round sees Inter Milan host Arsenal.
Tip 1: Both teams to score - Celtic vs RB Leipzig @ 1/2
Celtic will look to build on their seven-match unbeaten run when they welcome RB Leipzig to Celtic Park.
The Hoops were thumped 7-1 by Borussia Dortmund in their last defeat at the start of October, but they face a Leipzig side who have conceded six goals in Europe already.
Leipzig have yet to pick up a point in the Champions League, losing 2-1 to Atletico Madrid and 3-2 to Juventus before Liverpool recorded a 1-0 away win last time out.
Celtic have conceded in two of their three games so far, so expect another lively affair on Tuesday.
Tip 2: Luis Diaz to score anytime @ 49/20
Liverpool boss Arne Slot has been able to mix up his front line throughout the season, and even though Diogo Jota is injured, he still has Mohamed Salah, Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez available in the final third ahead of the tie with Bayer Leverkusen.
Diaz has been in and out of the team in recent weeks, but his record this season suggests he will be a handful on Tuesday night.
With Gakpo starting Saturday's 2-1 win over Brighton, Diaz should get the chance to start as he looks to add to his six goals in 14 appearances.
Leverkusen right-back Nordi Mukiele suffered a thigh injury in Friday's goalless draw against Stuttgart, so Diaz should be able to shine against whoever Xabi Alonso selects in his place.
Tip 3: Sporting Lisbon Double Chance vs Manchester City @ 1/1
Sporting Lisbon will hope to hand Manchester City their third successive defeat in all competitions in Tuesday's encounter.
Pep Guardiola's side were eliminated from the EFL Cup by Tottenham in midweek, while they fell to a 2-1 league defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday.
Sporting are unbeaten in 15 matches in all competitions, winning 14 of those games, while City's injury woes should help the hosts pick up at least a share of the spoils.
Rodri, Ruben Dias, John Stones, Jack Grealish and Oscar Bobb are all sidelined, while Savinho and Kevin De Bruyne need to prove their fitness to feature, so City will do well to pick up the victory against an in-form outfit.
Tip 4: Aston Villa to win @ 11/10
Aston Villa will be confident of ending their three-match winless run when they take on Club Brugge.
Unai Emery's side have let their guard down domestically recently, but they have won all three of their Champions League ties.
Brugge have scored in nine games in a row, so they may provide some resistance, but they have come up short when stepping up in class in Europe, losing two of their three ties in the Champions League so far.
Tip 5: Under 2.5 goals @ 4/6 - Inter vs Arsenal
Inter Milan will aim to extend their unbeaten run to nine matches when they host Arsenal on Wednesday.
The Italian giants have kept five clean sheets in their last seven games in all competitions, while the Gunners have only won one of their previous five away matches.
Both teams have scored in just two of Arsenal's last 17 away matches, so this match should be a close and tense affair.
