Premier League Darts - Night 7 Predictions
The Premier League crosses the Severn Bridge for Night 7 and local favourite Gerwyn Price will be guaranteed a hero's ovation at the Utilita Arena in Cardiff.
Price arrives in South Wales on the back of victory on Night 6 in Nottingham, his second win of the season. Despite that, it's Luke Littler who is 11/8 favourite to claim the Thursday night glory in the Welsh capital.
Chris Dobey vs Stephen Bunting
The league's bottom two meet in the night's opener with Chris Dobey preferred at 49/50.
These two have yet to play each other this season and the pressure will be high, with Dobey on three points and Bunting nil.
Bunting has been playing well but not winning and that seven-game pointless streak is telling on a player whose emotions are always there to see. Under any pressure, expect him to wilt first.
Luke Humphries vs Michael van Gerwen
Back-to-back quarter-final losses have seen Luke Humphries knocked off the top of the table by Luke Littler, though Cool Hand should return to winning ways against Michael van Gerwen.
MvG is struggling for consistency, although playing against Humphries tends to bring out the best in him. When they met on Night 1 in Belfast, Humphries won 6-5 despite the Dutchman averaging 101.51.
Humphries brings out the best in all his opponents because there are hardly any scrappy legs. The three-dart average against the world No.1 this year in the Premier League is 98.7 so Van Gerwen can get over 97.5.
Tip 2: Michael van Gerwen Over 97.5 Average @ 5/6
Luke Littler vs Nathan Aspinall
Luke Littler has gone top of the standings and the recently-crowned Belgian Open and UK Open champion is going to take some shifting.
He knows the doughty Nathan Aspinall will give him a game but they have played twice this season already with The Nuke winning 6-2 on Night 4 and 6-3 a week later.
In both those games Littler also bossed the 180s count, 5-2 on each occasion.
Littler is averaging a maximum every 1.9 legs in the league, Aspinall one every 3, so take a chance on the teenager doing the match/most 180s double.

Gerwyn Price vs Rob Cross
Six rounds into Premier League 2025 and The Iceman is keeping pace with the Lukes, the three of them boasting two Thursday night wins each.
Gezzy will obviously have the crowd on his side in Cardiff but there really doesn't look like there's much between him and Rob Cross. Indeed, Voltage has only ever lost two of eight Premier League clashes with Price and beat him last time out at the Dutch Masters in January.
Tip 4: Rob Cross to win @ 27/25
To win Night 7
Littler and Humphries are the top two going into Night 7 and it's long odds they will be anything other than that by the time of May's play-offs.
Cardiff could yet witness a third Littler-Humphries final of the year, with Cool Hand certainly a decent bet to make the showpiece, in the slightly softer top half of the draw.
He is 11/4 to get up for a third time and as world No.1, he looks fair value at that price.
