Premier League Darts - Night Three Tips

World champion Luke Littler and world No.1 Luke Humphries went into the 2025 Premier League at the head of the betting, and after a win apiece over the first two weeks, nothing has changed.

Week 3 sees the eight players head to Dublin where The Nuke, victorious in Glasgow last Thursday, is 7/4 to go back-to-back, with Humphries a 5/2 chance.

Tip 1: Stephen Bunting Over 97.5 Average @ 5/6

It's played two, lost two for Stephen Bunting who needs to rediscover his January form if he is to land a blow against Cool Hand.

The Bullet did beat Humphries en route to winning the Bahrain Masters but the formbook looks very different a month down the line.

Humphries is rightly a 4/11 chance, although he does bring out the best in his opponents - all three in Glasgow last week averaged over 97.5 against the Englishman. Bunting can do the same.

Tip 2: Gerwyn Price +1.5 @ 27/25

Littler turned on the style in Scotland last Thursday to win his first event since being crowned world champion at the turn of the year.

His numbers throughout the two weeks of the Premier League have been dazzling, but Gerwyn Price did beat the teenager in a Players Championship event and he's quite capable of pushing him again.

Tip 3: Nathan Aspinall to win @ 27/25

Rob Cross has won one game over the first two Thursdays, Nathan Aspinall none.

This promises to be a tight, tense affair with Voltage shading favouritism at 7/10.

Cross is playing the better of the two - he has won two events already in 2025, one on the floor, the other the Dutch Masters - but they met five times in last year's Premier League and Aspinall won the lot.

Tip 4: Chris Dobey Over 95.5 Average @ 4/5

First-week finalist Dobey played well again last Thursday, going 4-2 in front against Humphries before the world No.1 stormed through 6-4.

To prove his form is standing up, he also triumphed in Players Championship 3 in Rosmalen on Monday.

Dobby is the 8/5 outsider and any repeat of their meeting at the World Championship on January 2 and you wouldn't touch him - MvG won that night 6-1.

Take Dobey to give his best and even if he doesn't get over the line, he can certainly clear a 95.5 average.

Tip 5: Nathan Aspinall to win Night 3 each-way @ 14/1

We had a Humphries-Littler final last week, possibly the first of many in this year's Premier League, though it may not happen in Dublin.

The two Lukes are in the same half of the draw which means there's a 'softer' other half where Aspinall, twice a winner during the 2024 Premier League, gets the nod.
