Premier League Darts - Night Three Tips
It’s week three in the Premier League and cover your ears because things are about to get noisy in Glasgow.
Michael van Gerwen got the better of Luke Littler 6-5 to take weekly honours in Berlin last time out and Michael Smith was the king on the opening night in Cardiff.

Week three sets up four intriguing quarter-finals on what should be a cracking night of darts in Scotland.
Match One: Rob Cross v Michael Smith
Smith looked something like the 2023 World Championship-winning version of himself when taking the week one crown and Bully Boy recorded a 101.35 three-dart average when beating Gerwyn Price 6-2 in Berlin last week.
An inspired Van Gerwen stopped Smith at the last-four stage in Germany, but the St Helens man still registered a 98.17 average in that contest and those sorts of numbers could be too much for Rob Cross.
Voltage is a solid arrowsmith, but the Kent man has won only one match in the opening two weeks of Premier League action and there was a disappointing effort at the Masters sandwiched in between.
Tip One: ADD TO BETSLIP - Michael Smith to beat Rob Cross @ 10/13
Match Two: Michael van Gerwen v Peter Wright
Van Gerwen is 2/15 to beat Peter Wright and Snakebite’s prospects look anything but bright.
The Scot has been struggling for form and although last week was better, it’s hard to ignore the awful 83.78 losing average that Wright recorded on night one.
Snakebite was beaten by Maik Kuivenhoven in the opening round of Monday’s first Players Championship event and another early exit is on the cards.
Tip Two: ADD TO BETSLIP - Michael van Gerwen -2.5 legs v Peter Wright @ 13/25
Match Three: Nathan Aspinall v Luke Humphries
Nathan Aspinall has been close to his brilliant best, but the same cannot be said for world champion Luke Humphries and, at 11/5, the Asp looks overpriced to win this quarter-final clash.
The Stockport thrower played pretty well in the Players Championship events earlier this week,, while Humphries was hammered 6-0 by Ian White in the early stages of the season-opening Wigan event.
Aspinall is a former Premier League runner-up, he is no stranger to big tournament success and there are bags of class.
The Asp can be chanced to upset Cool Hand Luke in Glasgow.
Tip Three: ADD TO BETSLIP - Nathan Aspinall to beat Luke Humphries @ 11/5
Match Four: Gerwyn Price v Luke Littler
Price and Lke Littler complete the quarter-final action and it should be a top-level contest.
Price walked out mid-match during the Players Championship event in Wigan on Monday and that doesn’t look like ideal preparation for a clash with Littler.
It’s difficult to know what ideal preparation for a clash with the phenomenal Nuke would be and the 17-year-old looks ready to fire again.
A couple of missed darts at double ten prevented Littler from claiming the week two honours in Berlin, but the Warrington lad still produced another outstanding performance and he looks great value to beat a disgruntled Price.
Tip Four: ADD TO BETSLIP - Luke Littler to beat Gerwyn Price @ 6/10
