Premier League Darts - Night 12 Predictions

BetUK - Premier League Darts Rotterdam Tips

The race for a place in the Premier League playoffs is heating up with only five nights of regular-season action remaining.

Rotterdam is the venue for Week 12 and the Dutch crowd provide one of the best atmospheres of the season.

The quarter-final line-up puts Michael Smith up against Luke Littler, while Rob Cross takes on Gerwyn Price, Peter Wright clashes with Nathan Aspinall and Michael van Gerwen against Luke Humphries completes the last-eight action.

Michael Smith to beat Luke Littler @ 13/8

Luike Littler took the Birmingham prize last week and the Nuke is now top of the Premier League table. However, the 17-year-old may run into trouble against Smith, who is available at a tempting price.

Bully Boy has won three of his four Premier League meetings with Littler in this season’s competition and the Nuke was disarmed by Kevin Doets at the last-32 stage of last week’s Players Championship event.

Smith averaged 104.45 in a 6-3 quarter-final victory over Price last week and the St Helens man can star in Rotterdam.

Gerwyn Price to beat Rob Cross @ 4/7

Gerwyn Price is running out of time if he is to make the top-four positions and his quarter-final opponent Rob Cross has also drifted out of playoff contention.

The Iceman played some fantastic darts in last weekend’s International Darts Open and lost out only to home favourite Martin Schindler in Germany.

Cross has lost five successive Premier League quarter-finals and Voltage looks to be heading for a sixth straight defeat when he plays Price.

Peter Wright to beat Nathan Aspinall @ 29/20

It has been a Premier League campaign to forget for Peter Wright, but Snakebite was able to beat Rob Cross in Belfast and Gerwyn Price in Nottingham and the Scot’s chances against Aspinall may have been underplayed.

Aspinall looked out of sorts when averaging only 90.52 in a 6-2 third-round International Darts Open defeat to Danny Noppert and the Asp lacks consistency.

Luke Humphries to beat Michael van Gerwen @ 3/5

Michael van Gerwen landed the Birmingham prize last week, but he has only four Premier League match victories in the last seven weeks and Luke Humphries has the far superior body of work this season.

Cool Hand Luke has been performing at a high level on the Pro Tour, European Tour and Premier League and the world champion looks a class above the Green Machine going on the last 12 months of action.

Luke Humphries to win Week 12 @ 5/2

With Humphries strongly fancied to get past Michael van Gerwen in the quarter-finals, and top operators Gerwyn Price, Luke Littler and Michael Smith housed in the opposite half of the draw, the path looks clear for Cool Hand Luke to land the nightly honours.

The Newbury arrowsmith was beaten in the third round of the International Darts Open last week, but having a break from action could be a blessing for the world champion and the 5/2 on offer looks a generous price.
