Tyson Fury Vs Derek Chisora
Tyson Fury vs Derek Chisora Betting Tips
Tyson Fury and Dereck Chisora will clash for the third time when they get it on at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on Saturday night.
Chisora has twice found the Gypsy King too hot to handle and Del Boy is looking to make it third time lucky against the WBC heavyweight champion.
Fury is the red-hot favourite for the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium bout and it would be a huge upset if the Morecambe man lost his world title to Chisora.
Form in the book
Fury and Chisora first clashed way back in 2011. The Gypsy King was 14 fights unbeaten going into the first fight between the pair and the Morecambe man was on the rise. A pair of English title victories over John McDermott were the best wins on Fury’s card and the clash with Chisora represented a sizable step up in class.
Fury defeated Chisora and claimed the British and Commonwealth titles on the way, but that wasn’t the end of the battles between the two Britons.
The Gypsy King forced Chisora to retire his corner in their second clash at London’s Excel Centre in 2014. That was a far more convincing victory for the Morecambe man and it’s tricky to see how Del Boy can turn the tide eight years later.
Age not just a number for Chisora
Chisora is in the twilight of his boxing career at the age of 38. The Finchley fighter showed that fire hadn't completely gone out with a pair of competitive efforts against Joseph Parker and a victory over Kubrat Pulev.
However, Chisora has been in a number of gruelling bouts throughout his 45-fight career, and while War has performed with credit in his last handful of contests, all of his last four fights have gone the full 12 rounds and that has to take its toll on an aging body.
Fury a class apart
Fury demolished Deontay Wilder in their trilogy of fights, and alongside Oleksandr Usyk, the Morecambe man has established himself as the king of the heavyweight division. The 34-year-old stood up to the immense power of Wilder and many believed that Dillian Whyte would prove a dangerous opponent for Fury. However, Fury dismissed the challenge of the Body Snatcher, knocking out the Brixton banger in the sixth round, and the Gypsy King is levels above his British rival.
Fury vs Chisora predictions
Fury has the motivation of defending his WBC heavyweight title and the potential undisputed bout against Usyk further down the line. However, if truth be told, at the age of 38, Chisora is not a credible challenger. Fury hasn’t always been at his brilliant best when set a straightforward task although the Gypsy King has twice proved too good for Del Boy.
Chisora gets a nice payday at the end of his career, but punters backing a Del Boy upset are unlikely to cash in.
Backing a mid-to-late Fury stoppage looks the way to play this fight. The Gypsy King is decent value to win in rounds 9-12 and punters can also consider getting long odds on the total rounds line.
