Boxing Betting Tips
When looking to place a bet on the boxing, there are dozens of options for every weekend. From the big heavyweight championship fights to the lesser known local boxing bouts, you’ll be able to find betting odds for those fights at BetUK. What are betting odds without betting tips and predictions? We aim to provide you with the best betting tips and predictions for the top fights in the calendar year, we’ll also provide our opinion-based blogs which will include our thoughts on who the best boxers of all time are and some prospects who could reach unthought of heights in upcoming years.
Predicting Boxing Bouts
When creating betting tips for the next big boxing card, there is a lot of information and research that needs to be processed before making our tips. Just because one boxer has 18 knockouts in 18 fights, doesn’t mean they are guaranteed to win by knockout in their next bout. And our tips also work on round-based predictions, meaning that we need to know when each boxer typically gets their second wind and how they perform in fights.
For boxing bouts, you’ll find that certain results are more common depending on the division. For example, heavyweight bouts are more likely to provide a knockout victory, while lightweight and middleweight bouts are more likely to finish with a decision victory.
What fights can I find Boxing betting tips for?
Typically here at BetUK, we’ll look for the biggest fights across each month. For example, if Jarrell Miller Vs Andy Ruiz Jr is during a month that Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are fighting, we might not have a full fight prediction for that fight and we’ll focus our attention on the bigger bouts. However, we know that boxing sometimes has a lull where there are no major boxing bouts for months at a time, so we’ll always look to fill that gap with smaller bouts. So, in-short, if it’s a fight that the general public are interested in that month - we’ll cover it.
Can I find betting tips for undercard fights?
Yes! Typically, we know that almost every big fight has at least one decent fight on the undercard that fans will want to watch. Therefore, we’ll do our best to have some betting tips available for those fights - whether it’s the co-main event or the first fight on the card, if we believe there is interest in that fight, we’ll look to provide predictions and betting tips for that fight.
What boxers are the best to bet on
As mentioned above, different boxers have different styles which means that, for online betting, we find that up-and-coming boxers are the best to bet on. You might not get great odds for these boxers to beat often journeymen boxers that they come up against but they often fight more often than high-valued boxers and the result is often closer to guaranteed but if you’re looking to bet on round betting and method of victory betting, you can extend the odds above what you would typically expect.
For example, exciting prospect Johnny Fisher, the Romford Bull won four fights in the first round in an 18 month period. So, for future bouts, that would be something to look out for - depending on his opponent. First round may look unlikely but winning in rounds 1-3 for the fiery, talented boxer could be a great choice for a bet.
