Next Bournemouth Manager Odds

When a big risk doesn't pay off, more often than not, that risk is removed from the equation. It seems very likely that this will be the case with former Spanish international Andoni Iraola. After doing fantastic jobs at AEK Larnaca, Mirandes and Rayo Vallecano, the job at AFC Bournemouth may just be too big for Iraola this season.

We have already seen that Bournemouth are prepared to sack their manager in awkward circumstances after Gary O'Neil was sacked by the club following an excellent season last year. O'Neil kept the club from being relegated from the Premier League and Iraola may have improved the quality of football on display but the quality of the results has definitely gotten worse.

Will Andoni Iraola be the next manager to be sacked?

As it stands, there are four managers who may be found at the top of the Premier League next manager to be sacked betting market in the upcoming months. Until Iraola is sacked, we won't find Bournemouth manager betting odds on-site but you can find him at the top of the next manager to be sacked odds. However, this doesn't mean that he will be the next to go, there are a number of managers who are teetering on the edge of survival in their jobs and we could see any of Erik Ten Hag, Paul Heckingbottom or Vincent Kompany leave before the Spaniard.

However, the Andoni experience doesn't seem to have worked and with games against Sheffield United, Luton Town, Nottingham Forest and Fulham in the space of a month, Bournemouth can't afford more bad results, if they lose to premier league relegation rivals Sheffield United - Andoni looks almost a certainty to be sacked.

Who will be the next AFC Bournemouth manager?

Chairman Bill Foley has found himself in a conundrum at AFC Bournemouth, since the departure of Eddie Howe in August 2020, Foley had only even known one manager at the club. This made it no surprise that Jason Tindall (Howe's number two) got the job as he was well-known by the chairman. However, it comes as no huge surprise that no manager has been able to repeat the success of Howe at the club. Tindall steadied the ship for the likes of Jonathan Woodgate and Scott Parker to come into the club but neither would be deemed as successful at the club like Howe.

So, that begs the question, who could be the next AFC Bournemouth manager? After his sacking in Saudi Arabia, Nuno Espirito Santo could be the best option for Bournemouth if they wish to continue building on their current playing style. NES has had a fantastic spell in the Premier League with Wolves and a less successful spell with Tottenham Hotspur.

Other potential candidates include Middlesbrough manager Michael Carrick, former Leeds United manager Jesse Marsch and Steven Gerrard, who is also currently working in Saudi Arabia. One outsider for the job which peaks our interest is Graham Potter, who looks the favourite to be the next England manager after a poor spell at Stamford Bridge but he may be tempted to take on a role at the Vitality Stadium and take another shot at the Premier League as the next Bournemouth manager.

How has Andoni Iraola performed at AFC Bournemouth?

To say Andoni Iraola hasn't worked out at Bournemouth would be an understatement and that is why we're expecting to see next Bournemouth manager odds across a number of sportsbooks in the near future. Their new manager came into the fray off the back of a number of impressive performances in other jobs, mainly known for his career at Athletic Bilbao, the former right-back seemed set to join a big club and although Bournemouth fit that bill on a worldwide scale, the manager definitely would have been better suited to other clubs.
